St Andrews is just a hop, skip and jump away from some lovely coastal fishing villages. Anstruther is known for their fish and chips and Crail for their pottery. The "Coastal Path" takes you along the coast to each town and although I don't do much hiking, I hear it is a nice jaunt. Instead of walking, we drove for a little afternoon getaway and got to enjoy some beautiful scenery.
