I've been a little obsessed with Pintrest lately. And because I'm not a very crafty or creative person, I've been inspired by some of the ideas I've found for kids. I've done a few of the easy projects and I've been so excited by the outcome! Here are a few of my favorites.
Bath Paint
1 T cornstarch
4-6 pumps baby shampoo
2-3 drops food coloring
1-2 t water
Amelie loved this one and it's so quick to make. I had some leftover egg dying containers which worked great for containers. One recipe makes one color. The great part is it comes off the bath tub with a splash unlike the store bought bath crayons.
Mealtime Prayer Pail
I loved this idea when I saw it. My old burnt candle container is now housing 25 simple prayers for meals. Amelie gets to pick one and we read it before dinner. A great way to change up the normal prayer and and get the kids involved.
Potato Stamps
I always feel like I have leftover potatoes lying around so we tried this not too long ago. It worked great and anything "new" is fun for Amelie. Great for those rainy Scottish days. I used my Linzer cookie cutouts for a small stamp on baby potatoes.
