We went to the Fife Animal Park this weekend and had lots of fun getting up close and personal with a variety of animals. When we paid, the nice guy at the front gave us food to feed them but really no instructions. So we asked a worker on the trail which animals we were allowed to feed and he replied that we could feed any of them but that they all bite. So we saved the food for the ducks by our house instead. We also tried to brave the bat cavern, but to no avail. There was a dark room you could walk into with bats flying everywhere but the worker said don't be alarmed if they nip you a bit. That was enough for me. But on the flip side, we saw pigs, sheep, zebras, emus, turkeys, chickens, an assortment of exotic birds, wallabies, donkeys, lemurs, water buffalo and lots of other things. Well worth a day out.

| A hungry donkey. I thought he was having an asthma attack. Andrew said that's just the noise they made. Amelie was not excited to get any closer. |
| Shetland Pony. They looked like the nicest animals we saw. |
