Back to last weekend; the last day we had the car we took a short trip (just over a mile out of town) to Craigtoun Country Park. I had heard a little about it but had no idea it would be so huge and truly beautiful. It exceeded our expectations by a lot! The park used to be the grounds of Melville Manor from what we can gather. The old manor is still in tact, but not in use. The Duke's Golf Course is now the main attraction next to the park. There is a nice club house by the course and stunning views....but back to the park. We took Amelie to the playground and to the in-ground trampolines. There was a bowling green, train track, playing fields, walking paths, lakes, gardens, etc. You could really spend a lot of time there. It was nice day out.
