Andrew and I decided to take our last "hoorah" trip at the end of January before the baby came so we settled on Germany & Austria. As we landed in Munich surrounded by blowing snow, we started wondering why we chose there instead of southern Spain. But it turned out to be a fabulous trip with wonderful food, friendly people, and lots of beautiful sights. I hope we can return one day in the summer because I can only imagine how spectacular it would be surrounded by blooming flowers and lots of greenery. Being in the Bavarian Alps really reminded us of being up in the Colorado mountains, particularly Vail for obvious reasons. It was a great way to spend our last little bit of time as a family of 2.
Standing in front of the Glockenspiel
This pretty much sealed the deal on the name. We saw this in Garmisch and I must say their chocolate was pretty amazing.
